As a cornerstone of the ACS Doha experience, the Athletics & Activity Program emphasizes high standards, integrity, fair play and a commitment to personal growth. Through these values, students gain positive and enriching experiences that reflect the spirit of the ACS community, supporting their role as ambassadors both on and off the field.

Coaches have a unique opportunity to support students in achieving broader educational and developmental goals through extracurricular activities, enriching their learning beyond the classroom. The Athletics & Activity Program is a crucial partner in the educational experience for students at all levels—Primary, Middle, and High School.

While few students will continue in competitive team sports after graduation, the lessons learned—teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and respect—are invaluable. The program instills qualities that serve students well beyond their athletic careers, equipping them with skills for success in all areas of life.

By maintaining high standards, fair play and clear expectations, the ACS Athletics & Activity Program ensures that students have positive, meaningful experiences while representing the school as ambassadors. These students also carry the values of their teammates, coaches, school community and parents with pride.

Every year our teams participate in tournaments both locally and internationally:

  • QPPSSA – Elementary aged students compete against other school in Qatar
  • PAAC-6 – Middle and high school students compete against some of the best international school in Qatar
  • GAAC – Varsity level athletes compete against international school from the Gulf region.

Everyone at ACS Doha will work towards these shared outcomes − known as Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs) − to build the knowledge, understanding, skills and perspectives they need as internationally minded, thoughtful and proactive members of society:
