Early Childhood

Philosophy

Our Early Childhood programme supports our youngest learners as they gain their first experiences of the school environment. Relationships are at the heart of the programme. We build strong connections with our families and communities, and help every child feel a sense of belonging in our diverse community.

We see our students as young individuals with knowledge and experience that we can enrich and build upon. We personalise learning to the needs, interests and abilities of each child, and encourage our students to explore and problem-solve as they make sense of their surroundings. Our indoor and outdoor environments are carefully designed so that our learners can direct their own learning with focus and curiosity.

Our team understands that young children learn best through play-based enquiry, and our teachers encourage our learners to experience situations that develop independence, teamwork and self-expression. Through play, our students explore the world around them, whilst simultaneously developing their ability to communicate and empathise with their peers.

As educators, we lead by example and endeavour to serve as role models to our students. We encourage our teachers to learn voraciously, collaborate and implement best practices. We strive to build a community of happy and confident children who love to learn.

Happy. Confident. Curious.

We take a genuine interest in each child, and we believe in establishing positive adult-student relationships and in differentiating instruction to meet each individual’s needs. These are key to developing children’s confidence, nurturing their strengths and supporting them to reach their potential.

Our annual parent survey consistently validates our ethos, culture, and success. If you are seeking an established international school with a strong sense of community, pioneering use of integrated technology, and a proven academic track record, come visit. We look forward to welcoming you.
